A little salute

It seems to have become a bit of a habit for me to move with the seasons, and as spring brightens everyones day and each day stretches out longer I pack up my room and farewell this chapter of my life. I say goodbye to Auckland, my beautiful big old Grey Lynn villa and my job at a sweet little vegan cafe called Cosset.

Of course along with these goodbyes a little bit of sadness goes with it, but boy am I excited for a blissful summer in the magnificent Coromandel. Magnificent is a pretty big word, but I think in all my days there will never be a single word big enough or that justifies this place that I call home.

But before I share my hippie life up there with you I must share a few pictures of my world here.

Firstly a salute to little cosy Cosset...

Cosset is a cosy little heaven for vegan/vegetarian or gluten free cats to come and relax and enjoy (plus anyone else awesome). It has an impressive eco friendly forward way of thinking and really proves that food can still be AMAZING without poor little animals in the mix.

Think caramel and chocolate macaroon cake, rose, chocolate and pistachio cupcakes, blueberry and lemon zest muffins, lavender and lemon melting moments, home made chai, lavender lattes, to die for soups and pies and tasty savory pastries! And yes you fussy/unfortunate/ passionate eater you can eat all of it!!!

So if your ever up in the big smoke definitely pop by, grab a hot water bottle, blanket, Frankie magazine and treat yourself!
