Spoke

In my current job I am lucky enough to have a little insider on some funky and creative happenings around the city. This week, for example, I found myself plating up cakes for some pretty little poets at an open mic night.

A friend casually asked if I too was stepping up to share, personally this idea mortified me, but after sitting in I left feeling a little more inspired to do so. Although I think maybe I can work my courage up to sharing on here, rather then public speaking- cringe!

Anyway it all reminded me of a beautiful poem I noted down from my yoga teacher in Pai that I meant to share...

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Melody Beattie.

Nice.

Now heres a pretty picture. Cause we all love pretty pictures!
