This is now

I have been a wee bit absent from here once again so I thought I would give you a wee recap of my sweet little life here in Hahei.

Starting with food. As most of you would know I am now cooking at a cafe a few days a week and at a beautiful fine dining restaurant at night. With these two news additions to my life I have been learning so much and getting further and further into the deep and wonderful world of food. Sadly both places are pretty meat orientated so I have been having to take a deep breath and hold onto the hopes that one day I will make up for living off the meat industry. For now its all pretty interesting and an amazing experience that I am very grateful for.

Aside from work I have been experimenting quite a bit in my own wee kitchen to make scrummy healthy vegan treats and attending many many amazing amazing pot luck dinners, bbq's and dessert/movie nights around the village with friends...
